Sesshoumaru’s Addiction

Kagome sighed as she walked through the thick foliage of Inuyasha forest. Now to an outsider, it might seem as though she was lost, but the time traveling miko from the future was far from it. She traversed this stretch of forest an infinite number of times during her frequent visits to the feudal era. She couldn’t help but smile as she thought about how no matter what, practically everything that happened to her and her comrades seemed to revolve around this forest. For example, she met Inuyasha here, and her childhood home in the future was located here and…him. This was where she came to meet him. He often called her to this place for their visits. It amused her that her friends knew nothing of her hand in their safety, and the price for said safety wasn’t so bad. Plus it was only once a month. She sighed when the male in question came into view.

“I need more,” he said, stopping just short of her.

“But it’s not time!” She said slightly surprised and shocked and just a tad bit amused at the almost desperate look on his face.

“I cannot wait. I will not wait.”

“But it’s only been a week! I haven’t had time to prepare!”

He growled and moved closer to her, causing her to back up to avoid touching him. “You will give me what I desire,” he growled, continuing to walk towards her until she was trapped between him and the tree behind her. He smirked as the smell of her apprehension filled his senses. “I have no intention of waiting 3 weeks more.”

Kagome sighed. She could see no way out of this. She was going to have to comply to his wishes. There was simply no way around it.

He smirked as her eyes clouded over and she sighed. “I see you have realized you have no choice.”

“But it’s not time,” she said softly, refusing to meet his gaze. “And how do I know that you aren’t going to take advantage of this. You can’t just change the deal whenever you want.”

“Then I shall add another benefit. We will change from monthly to weekly encounters and in return this Sesshoumaru will come to your aid whenever you need him.”

She sighed,”Alright Sesshoumaru, you win. I’ll give you more pocky.”

“Alright Sesshoumaru, you win. I’ll give you more pocky. I have to go get it from my time though. I don’t have any with me.”

“Very well,” he said, smirking in victory. “You have one hour.”

“One HOUR?! That’s not enough time! I can’t even get to the well and back in an hour!”

“Time is ticking.” He said smugly.

“At least carry me to the well. It’s the least you can do.” She said, determined to convince him. “Anyways, it would be better for you too. The faster I can get to my time the faster you can have your pocky.” He seemed to contemplate his options for a moment before he shrugged and threw her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes before taking to the skies at speeds that made Kagome’s head spin. Moments later he landed in front of the well and dropped her in.

“That jerk!” Kagome said as she walked to the store. “The least he could have done was warn me!” She continued to make her way down the street, grumbling to herself the whole way. When she was almost to the store she saw something that made her stop dead in her tracks and laugh so hard she had to grasp the telephone pole next to her for support. Standing not 5 feet in front of her at the intersection, stuffing his mouth with as much pocky as he could, stood the modern day Sesshoumaru. She smiled when he turned to look at her, “Some things never change.”
